Focus Area:  Minerals

Report Description

Geoscience BC Report 2010-6 presents the results of the QUEST-South airborne gravity survey, which covers over 45,000 square kilometers of southern BC (from Williams Lake to the USA border). This dataset was collected by Sander Geophysics Ltd. over the fall of 2009.

Report Components

Note: The primary data in the Quest-South airborne gravity data set is the gridded data, as final processing and quality control is done on grid based data. The *.xyz database of point oriented data may contain small differences with the values in the grids, depending on the griding process used.

Raw Data in Geosoft Grids:
Each ZIP file contains bouguer gravity, free air gravity, first vertical derivative of bouguer gravity, isostatic corrected bouguer gravity, first vertical derivative of isostatic corrected bouguer gravity and bare-earth terrain
