Geoscience BC Releases Draft Version of Endako Geo-exploration Atlas and Update to Iskut River Geology Map
September 26, 2013 - Geoscience BC is pleased to announce the release of Geoscience BC Report 2013-22: "A Geo-exploration Atlas of the Endako Porphyry Molybdenum District (Draft version)".
An update to Geoscience BC Report 2013-05: "Iskut River Area Geology, Northwest BC (104B/08, 09, 10 & part of 104B/01, 07, 11)" has also been produced; a single compilation map of the three originally produced maps is now available.
The reports are available for download through Geoscience BC's website at

About Geoscience BC Report 2013-22
F.A.M. Devine, M. Pond, D.R. Heberlein, P. Kowalczyk, W. Kilby and F. Ma
This atlas is a product of Geoscience BC's Porphyry Integration Project and was produced in partnership with Thompson Creek Mining Ltd.
The Endako Geo-exploration Atlas is a collection of over 30 maps that summarizes the geology, geophysics and geochemistry of the Endako porphyry molybdenum district. Early exploration data as well as geological mapping at the district and mine scales are combined with more recent geophysics and satellite imagery to provide an integrated, exploration-oriented view of BC's premier porphyry molybdenum district.

On January 24, 2013, Geoscience BC released three 1:50 000 scale maps as part of the " Iskut River Area Geology, Northwest BC (104B/08, 09, 10 & part of 104B/01, 07, 11)." These three maps have now been compiled into a single map that covers the same area of approximately 1512 km2 and includes NTS map sheets 104B/08, /09, /10 and parts of 104B/01, /07, /11. The map illustrates the complex volcano-sedimentary stratigraphy, structural architecture and intrusive complexity of this highly prospective region of the province and provide some of the most detailed and comprehensive mapping data available to the public for this region.
