Geoscience BC at Mineral Exploration Roundup 2017

January 17, 2017 - Geoscience BC is at AME BC's Mineral Exploration Roundup next week, from January 23th to 26th at the Vancouver Convention Centre East. Come see what we've been up to this past year!
Search Phase II Data Release Media Event Ballroom C (Tuesday, January 24th at 9 am) Geoscience BC will be releasing airborne magnetic and radiometric survey results for the Search Phase II area on Tuesday, January 24th at 9:00 am. Please join us at 9:00 am in Ballroom C to get a first look at the results. Digital data will be made available for download from our website at the same time.
Geoscience BC Booth Exhibit Hall (Monday, January 23rd and Tuesday, January 24th) Come by Geoscience BC's booth (#1526) to learn about current Geoscience BC projects. We'll have copies of our Summary of Activities 2016 volume and our Annual Report. Starting Tuesday morning maps from Search Phase II will be available for viewing. Both the Summary of Activities 2016 volume and new RGS information for BC will be available through our website on January 23rd (9:00 am).
Poster Session Exhibit Hall (January 23 to 25th 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; January 26th 9:00 – 2:30 pm) Geoscience BC proponents, associates and scholarship winners will exhibit over 20 posters at the Roundup poster session. These posters highlight much of Geoscience BC's ongoing work around the province, including:
  • Search Project Phase II Geophysics
  • New updates to the Provincial RGS database
  • Ongoing work in the TREK Project area
