Geoscience BC Data Release Reminder and New Website!

September 10, 2009 - Reminder: Upcoming Geoscience BC Data Release -- Sept 16th, 2009 at 10 am Geoscience BC will be releasing Geoscience BC Report 2009-15 "QUEST Project: 3D inversion modeling, integration, and visualization of airborne gravity, magnetic, and electromagnetic data, BC, Canada" on Wednesday September 16 at 10 am (Pacific). The report and data will be made available both through Geoscience BC's website (free download) and on a USB Flash Drive. As the results of the project total almost 20 GB in size, Geoscience BC recommends that interested parties opt for the flash drive. The flash drive will be available at Geoscience BC's office in Vancouver for $100 (cost of a 32 GB flash drive). Click here for more information, or contact .
Geoscience BC Launches New Website Geoscience BC is pleased to announce the launch of our newly-redesigned website. Highlights of the website redesign include:
  • Redesigned web pages for all Geoscience BC projects, featuring project descriptions, images and products. New pages have been added for many recent Geoscience BC projects, including QUEST-South.
  • Improved access to all Geoscience BC project information -- projects can now be identified by project type or region.
  • A redesigned Data section, which allows the user to browse through Geoscience BC's reports and data by year and report number.
  • New pages for each Geoscience BC Report, giving a description of the project, reports and data available for download, suggested references, and links to the project webpage and other web pages of interest.
  • A new Publications section, highlighting Geoscience BC's Summary of Activities volumes
  • A Search function on the Home Page that allows the user to quickly browse the website for key words.
