Geology and compilation by Trygve Höy
Cartography by Wayne Jackaman and Brodie Elder

Report Description
Geoscience BC Report 2016-08 is a 1:50 000 scale geology map of the Almond Mountain map sheet (NTS 082E/07) in southeast British Columbia, derived from new 1:20 000 scale mapping of selected areas of the Almond Mountain map sheet and compilation of previously existing regional geological, geophysical and geochemical data. This report includes shapefiles, and RGS and Minfile compilations.

The Almond Mountain map sheet is located north of the community of Greenwood in southern B.C., situated between the base- and precious-metal deposits of the Franklin, Greenwood and Beaverdell camps. The author has previously released updated geological maps east of this project area (Grand Forks, Deer Park and Burrell Creek), and a map for the Christian Valley area to the north is planned for release in 2017.
