Geoscience BC: Photo Contest

Vancouver, BC - November 10, 2017 - Geoscience BC is looking for new photos from our various projects to use in our annual publications and on the website. To encourage everyone to submit photos, we are awarding prizes for the photos selected to be the covers of our annual publications. Anyone who has worked on a Geoscience BC Project is eligible for this contest, including principal proponents, students (including scholarship winners) and field assistants, so please pass this email along to anyone who worked on your project.

Prizes are as follows:

Summary of Activities volume -- front cover: $200
Annual report -- front cover: $200

We'll accept photos from projects that were taken at any time - not just in 2016-2017, but please don't submit photos that have been previously submitted. Remember that great earth science happens in the lab too! Please send your photos to Candice Appleby by Friday, November 17 along with the below photo release form to be eligible for the above-listed prizes.
