Geoscience BC Report 2014-03: Regional Stream Sediment Geochemical Data, Sample Reanalysis (INAA), Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia
Geoscience BC Report 2014-03 presents reanalysis results from stream sediment samples collected during a 1988 geochemical survey completed in the Alert Bay and Cape Scott map sheet areas by the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources (MEMPR). The samples were reanalyzed by instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) to update the original 1989 release of analytical results.
This report is the final component of the Northern Vancouver Island Exploration Geoscience Project. The project was partially funded by the Island Coastal Economic Trust, through matching funding provided to Geoscience BC. The Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and Rivercorp also provided support for the project.
